Dr. Kim Ann Mink previously served as Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer of Innophos Holdings, Inc., a then publicly traded leading international producer of performance-critical and nutritional functional ingredients, with applications in the food, health, and industrial specialties markets. She served in this capacity from 2015 to 2020 until the completion of One Rock Capital Partner’s acquisition of Innophos. Prior to joining Innophos, Dr. Mink served as Business President of Elastomers, Electrical and Telecommunications at The Dow Chemical Company from September 2012 to December 2015. She joined Dow Chemical in April 2009 as Global General Manager, Performance Materials and President and CEO of ANGUS Chemical Co. (then a fully owned subsidiary of Dow Chemical). Prior to joining Dow Chemical, she was Corporate Vice President and Global General Manager, Ion Exchange Resins at the Rohm and Haas Company (now a fully owned subsidiary of Dow), where she spent more than 20 years serving in numerous senior leadership roles with increasing scope and responsibility. Before Rohm and Haas, Dr. Mink began her career as a Senior Scientist in the Corporate Analytical Research Department at Shell Development Company.
From September 2012 to December 2015, Dr. Mink served as a member of the Board of Advisors of Catalyst Inc., a nonprofit organization with a mission to accelerate progress for women through workplace inclusion and from November 2012 to December 2016, she served as a member of the National Board of Trustees of the ALS Association. Since March 2017, Dr. Mink has served as an independent director and is currently a member of the Compensation Committee, as well as Chair of the Innovation and Sustainability Committee, of Avient Corporation, a publicly traded leading global provider of specialized polymer materials, services, and solutions. Since July 2018, she has served as an independent director and is a member of the Compensation and Management Development Committee, Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and Finance Committee, as well as Chair of the Environmental, Safety, and Sustainability Committee, of Eastman Chemical Company, a publicly traded global specialty chemical company. In addition, since May 2020, Dr. Mink has served as an independent director and is a member of the Remuneration Committee of Air Liquide, a publicly traded leading global provider of specialty gases, technologies, and services for industry and health. She also serves as an independent director on the board of Group14 Technologies, a privately held global manufacturer and supplier of advanced silicon battery technology, and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Chair of the Governance and Corporate Responsibility Committee. Further, since September 2022, Dr. Mink has served on the Advisory Board of the Drexel University LeBow College of Business Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute’s Center for Corporate Governance.
Throughout her career, Dr. Mink has received several industry awards and recognition for her leadership. In 2014, she was named to STEMconnector’s 100 Diverse Corporate Leaders in STEM. In 2017 and 2018, she was recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women of the Mid-Market by CEO Connection. In 2018 and 2019, she was named to the annual Most Influential Corporate Board Directors by WomenInc. Magazine™ and in 2019, was named to ROI-NJ’s Influencers Power List 2019: Executives. In 2020, she was also one of the recipients of the Business Women of the Year Awards by CEO Today.
Dr. Mink earned a B.A. in Chemistry from Hamilton College and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Duke University. She is also a graduate of the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania Executive Management Program in Business Administration.
