It also supplies them with a developed business acumen, which is a critical component in identifying and telling the stories behind data — a skill many organizations seek. Students graduate with a mastery of accounting and are equipped to stand out in a competitive job market.
Propelled by Drexel’s over 100-year history of industry-based education, the MS in Accounting program takes an experiential approach through real-world learning opportunities. This approach expands students’ professional networks and builds their foundational knowledge, providing them with the tools to earn industry credentials — including Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accounting (CMA) — and drive business growth.

I wanted to pursue accounting — I love a spreadsheet! — but my undergrad degree was in the humanities. I really liked that Drexel had a two-year accounting option for students without a business background. It meant I was able to hit the ground running.
