Allaiyah Bartley ’25

After graduating from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business with a Master of Science in Economics, Allaiyah Bartley ’25 jumpstarted her career in the professional world.

She works for the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice (SP2) as a financial analyst. Bartley found the role through Handshake, a talent platform accessible to Drexel students and alumni.

Her role at SP2 focuses on budget and planning analysis, probing financial data for the school and utilizing that information to prepare budgets for future fiscal years. Bartley used the knowledge and skills she gained from her time at LeBow to guide her through the beginning of this career journey.

“A lot of what I do involves trend analysis, and I got a lot of practice in that from my classes,” Bartley says. “Drexel really prepared me for the rigorousness of learning in this role – being able to apply not only the skill set, but also the mindset”
