Pick Up Your Student Accounts

As a Drexel student, you are entitled to computer accounts, such as email and DrexelOne. Visit the Information Technology (IT) New Accounts page to pick up your accounts.

Complete ISSS Visa Requirements (International Students Only)

International students should be in contact with the Office of International Students and Scholars Services for information regarding their visa applications. View the New International Students page for more information. If you have any questions about the I-20/DS-2019 application or required documents, you may contact ISSS directly at isss@drexel.edu.

The International Graduate Student Association (IGSA) is a Drexel student organization that works to connect graduate international students with ISSS and the Drexel Graduate College. All international students are encouraged to get involved with IGSA and learn more about their events and services, including airport pickups in the fall.

Graduate Housing

Drexel graduate students can choose to live on campus or live off campus and commute. Please visit our Graduate Housing page for additional information. Very Apt’s apartment search tool is a great resource if you are looking for apartments.

Drexel’s Immunization and Health Insurance

All international and full-time graduate students must be in compliance with these policies. For details, visit the Health Insurance and Immunizations website.

Financial Aid, Payment Plan or Employer Reimbursement

Financial Aid: U.S. citizens and permanent residents should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using Drexel’s school code (003256) to be considered for federal aid. For more information about the financial aid process, visit the Drexel Central website.

** Please note students must be enrolled in at least 4.5 credits per term to be eligible for federal financial aid.

  1. Payment Plan: All students are eligible to participate in Drexel University’s Payment Plan. The payment plan allows you to spread payment of tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board over a longer period. 
  2. Employer Reimbursement Plan: This plan allows you to defer your tuition payments to Drexel until 30 days after the term has been completed. Students must enroll in this plan every term.

  • Full-Time Orientation: Wednesday, Sept. 18, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. EST
  • Part-Time Orientation: Thursday, Sept. 19, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. EST

Graduate College Orientation and Onboarding

Drexel’s Graduate College Online Orientation, Title IX Training, International Student Orientation (for International students only) are required in addition to LeBow’s Orientation. View the Graduate College Orientation & Events page for more information.

Register for Courses

Registration time tickets indicate the specific days and times you can register for classes via DrexelOne.

Please check your email for communications regarding registration and please don’t hesitate to reach out to your advisor if you have questions.

Please refer to the academic calendar for important dates, such as the first day of class, the deadline to drop/add courses, the withdrawal deadline, University holidays and more.

Register for BUSN 614: Foundations of Career and Professional Development (Full-Time Students)

**We encourage all new full-time students — especially international students — to register for this zero-credit and highly beneficial course. **

Register for BUSN 614 001 for the fall term. This course provides foundational instruction in professional etiquette and career development. Students will learn through lectures, small group activities and one-on-one meetings with their career advisor. They will also gain the tools to create a professional résumé, cover letter and LinkedIn profile, and they will learn how to network effectively within their industry.

Textbooks

Verify which textbooks are needed for upcoming courses by visiting the Drexel University Barnes & Noble website. You can pick up your textbooks at the University Bookstore or place your order online to have your textbooks shipped.

Please reach out to faculty if you have questions regarding textbooks.

Pick Up Your DragonCard University ID

Once you have registered for classes, you are eligible for a DragonCard. You will need a DragonCard for identification and to access certain resources and spaces on campus. 

Graduate students who do not reside in University Housing can pick up their DragonCards from a DragonCard office beginning one week prior to the start of their registered term.

A valid, government-issued photo ID is required to obtain a DragonCard.

University Parking Permit and Public Transportation

New Term Parking Permits are available for Drexel University students to purchase starting the Monday of break week prior to the new term.

Computer and Software Specifications

Although LeBow does not have specific requirements for students, Drexel’s general guidelines, including student discounts, can be found through Drexel Information Technology.

Commitment to Excellence Agreement

The purpose of the Commitment to Excellence agreement is to define the standards that ensure academic integrity, ethical conduct and the foundation of successful leadership. You will review and sign the Commitment to Excellence during orientation.

Incoming Student Survey

After you confirm your enrollment, you will receive a link in your personal email inbox to complete an incoming student survey. Please reach out to your advisor if you do not receive an email with your incoming student survey link.

Official Transcripts

If your final transcripts are not received prior to the start of your coursework at Drexel, a registration hold may be placed on your account. If other materials were requested at the time of your admission, these must be submitted as well.

DragonCard With Photo: An online student may pick up a DragonCard at a DragonCard office. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required to obtain a DragonCard.

DragonCard Without Photo: An online student may request that a non-photo DragonCard be mailed to the address on the student’s record. To request a non-photo DragonCard, complete this form. The DragonCard Office will not mail a DragonCard with photo identification.
