Anne Friberg

Anne Friberg is Senior Director, Peer Knowledge Exchange at NeuGroup, a premier independent boutique firm for peer knowledge exchange facilitation. She joined the firm in 2006. As peer-group facilitator, Ms. Friberg provides treasury management knowledge exchange, networking, and benchmarking to 100+ Fortune 500 organizations, including Microsoft, Amazon.com, Apple, Google, Intel, Nokia, Amgen, Merck, Celgene, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Ford, Fiat Chrysler, ABB and Walt Disney. A former treasury and investor relations practitioner herself, she currently leads seven NeuGroups (of 20), including Tech20 Treasurers’ Peer Group (Tech20; for large tech-company treasurers); Tech20 High-Growth Edition (Tech20HG; for $750mm+ revenue, fast-growing tech-company treasurers) cross-industry Treasurers’ Group of Thirty (T30); European Treasury Peer Group (EuroTPG); Latin American Treasury Peer Group (LatAmTPG); and two Foreign Exchange Managers’ Peer Groups (FXMPG I and II). In this role, she facilitates and plans the content for semi-annual private network exchanges / peer group meetings across multiple finance and treasury leadership levels of multinational corporations, to discuss common challenges including global and regional treasury operations (Americas, EMEA, AsiaPac); strategies and processes for capital structure and allocation, risk management, investor relations, financing, investments, repatriation, payments and collections; responses to tax and regulatory reform; treasury organization and talent acquisition and retention. She is also responsible for quality assurance and a streamlined delivery model across all 20 peer groups. In addition, she is a frequent guest speaker / panel moderator for audiences of 75 to 200, at leading finance and treasury industry conferences.

Prior to joining NeuGroup, Ms. Friberg worked for several years in international treasury management with Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. (now AB-Inbev) in St. Louis, Missouri, where she also held positions in the corporate planning and investor relations departments. Later, she managed the post-IPO investor relations organizations at Amdocs in St. Louis and About.com in New York.

A Swedish native, Ms. Friberg earned an International M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management and graduated from the School of Business, Economics and Law at Goteborg University in Sweden. She is multilingual and an avid traveler.
