Brian C. Weddington, CFA is a financial and advisory services professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, investment management and research, and strategy and financial advisory consulting. Mr. Weddington is Managing Partner of Diamond Tree Partners, LLC.
Mr. Weddington is currently pursuing private investments and leadership opportunities in small- to mid-cap companies. This follows a successful career at Moody’s Investors Service where he was responsible for managing credit ratings for US Food & Beverage companies representing over $200 billion of rated debt instruments. Over the course of his professional career, which has included senior roles at Bank of New York, Merrill Lynch and a private investment firm that he founded, Mr. Weddington has developed deep industry expertise in consumer products, protein & agriculture, media and telecommunications.
Mr. Weddington earned a Bachelor of Science in Management of Computerized Information Systems from Drexel University (LeBow) in 1988. He later earned an MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. Mr. Weddington has served on boards of various small for- and non-profit entities including styleWORKS, Big Mouth Productions, and Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association.
