Carlos Moreira

Carlos F. Moreira, BS ’91, is a customer transformation partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He delivers strategy, operations and technology consulting services to commericl, pricing and contracting and emerging technologies (AI, analytics, RPA, Blockchain, etc.) clients.

Moreira’s area of expertise is in defining strategies, business cases, as well as defining, architecting and delivering innovative business/technology solutions in the commercial (i.e., sales/brand reporting and analytics, pricing and contracts management, trade management, campaign/promotion management and master data management/analytics); R&D (RIM, clinical informatics, data quality), and supply bhain (Blockchain, serialization, and supply/demand optimization) functional areas for life sciences and health service clients.

Moreira has worked with more than 50 manufacturers, three wholesalers, three GPOs and 100 payers/providers by providing consulting and services that span the continuum from operations assessment, strategy and planning for business operations, data architecture and large-scale application design, development and implementation (SAP, Salesforce, Model N/Vistex, Oracle, etc.). Additionally, Moreira focuses on emerging services and needs of clients related to analytics, digital, cloud, emerging technology (RPA, AI, etc..) and IT operational services across payers/providers/P&LS clients.

He has more than 32 years of experience in the health industry and specifically, delivering consulting and services to P&LS clients. Prior to joining PwC, he was the general manager for IMS’s North America Business Transformation Services ,which was the data consulting arm of IMS. Prior to IMS, he was a partner/owner with Envision Consulting, which was acquired by IMS. Prior to Envision, Moreira was the solution leader of the Pricing and Incentives Solution Practice of CSC. Prior to joining CSC, he was a manager in the Pharmaceutical practice at Andersen Consulting.

Moreira has a B.S. in finance and management information systems from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. At Drexel, he is an adjunct professor and serves on the President’s Leadership Council and as vice chair of the LeBow College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board.
