About Me: I’m an International student from Nigeria. I am currently studying Economics with an interest in Econometrics in specific. I like to spend my free time exploring the city and meeting new people.
What have you enjoyed most so far at Lebow & Drexel?
So far I’ve enjoyed Lebow as a community. I have met a lot of brilliant people from Lebow and Drexel and also received a lot of support from peers, professors and advisors and other members of the Lebow community. It has made me have a sense of belonging to not only Drexel but the city of Philadelphia. I also felt I’ve learnt from the courses I’ve taken and as well the clubs and events I’ve participated in.
What is your most important tip for the incoming international freshmen?
It could be a bit hard getting used to living in America and here in Drexel and making friends. However, don’t forget that everyone is new to the community too. I would encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and try to meet as many people as you can. As for academics make sure you’re always on top of what you’re doing so you can to get your work done.
