Dr. Stein joined the faculty of Drexel University College of Medicine in 2003 as an assistant professor and chief of the newly formed Division of Colorectal Surgery. He is currently professor and chair of the Department of Surgery. He is also the director of operations for the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Stein came to Philadelphia after completing his colorectal surgery training in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Stein was the founder, director and driving force behind the creation of the Drexel University College of Medicine Mini‐Medical School. This unique interactive educational program taught individuals of all ages and vocations about different topics in healthcare. Mini‐Med Summer Camp® was one of the most sought‐after programs in the Philadelphia region, and his Mini‐Medical School for Trial Attorneys created a wonderful dialogue between physicians and lawyers.
