Eli is a former CEO of Vanderweil Engineers, a nationally recognized MEP/FP and technology engineering firm specializing in the design of mission-critical, high performance building systems. His portfolio includes leadership over multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-volage technology systems for advanced research laboratories, biopharmaceutical R&D facilities, hyperscale and enterprise data centers, healthcare environments, and large-scale energy and power generation facilities and infrastructure.
Eli began his career with Vanderweil in 1992 as an electrical engineer in the Princeton, NJ office, where he advanced to Office President in 2000. He was appointed CEO in 2005 and elevated to the Chairman of the Board in 2026. Throughout his tenure he oversaw firmwide operations, technical excellence initiatives, organizational development, client relationships, and long-range strategic planning.
Under his leadership, Vanderweil expanded to more than 500 professionals and $140Million in annual revenue, broadening its geographical footprint, market sectors, and integrated service offerings. He helped position the firm as a trusted advisor to global clients, delivering world-class energy-efficient engineering solutions for highly regulated, energy-intensive, and technologically advanced facilities.
Eli graduated from Drexel University in 1983 with a BSEE degree and is a registered Professional Engineer in 12 states.
