Frank Spiedel

Executive-in-Residence, Healthcare Management

Dr. Frank Speidel is a physician executive with extensive experience in the clinical practice of medicine and administration. He serves as LeBow’s subject matter expert for the healthcare management program, which includes panel participation, lectures, video presentations, mentoring, counseling and collaboration.

His professional experience includes both not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare delivery systems, as well as care delivery in the U.S. military. He served as the chief of emergency medicine at several hospitals including a level II trauma center and served four years as the EMS Medical Director for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A Gulf War veteran, he served on active duty with the United States Navy as Senior Flight surgeon. Speidel has held numerous roles in healthcare including senior vice president for medical affairs (CMO), privacy officer (CPO), compliance officer (CCO) and chief executive officer (CEO) at St. Luke’s Hospital at Sugarland and at the Vintage in Texas. As CEO, he oversaw the construction, staffing and opening of St Luke’s Hospital at the Vintage.
