Joe Parente, BS commerce and engineering 1988, is KPMG’s U.S. Consulting AI Leader. He has over 35 years of industry and consulting experience managing complex business transformation and technology innovations for his clients. In his role, he is responsible for performing market research, authoring industry and technology thought leadership, and setting strategic direction for KPMG’s Consulting AI business.
Parente has a broad background in strategy articulation, management consulting, technology innovation and systems integration. He continues to advise senior executives for AI, cloud and automation enabled enterprise business transformation initiatives.
In his Consulting AI role, Joe is responsible for:
- Spearheading initiatives to reengineer and evolve KPMG services as AI-forward and risk-responsible
- Incubating AI solutions for market introduction, including investment planning, buildout and commercialization plans
- Supporting KPMG’s analyst relationships related to AI: Firm ranked #1 for AI advice and implementation quality in Source’s annual survey of senior buyers of consulting services, “Perceptions of Consulting in the US in 2024”
Parente is active in the marketplace as a recognized thought leader and speaker on technology and AI, including panelist in the NACD “Corporate Director AI Education Series” and “Generative AI: Revolutionizing Industries and Workforce Dynamics” at Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT).
