John Evans leads the Blockchain Center of Excellence as the Head of Blockchain Strategy at Vanguard. He has a background in information technology and software engineering, having served as a senior leader of Operational Risk in the Investment Management Group before helping found the Investment Management Fintech Strategies team, and establishing his current position as Vanguard’s resident distributed ledger technology expert. Prior to joining Vanguard in 2012, John held various leadership positions at Macquarie Bank in risk and technology.
