John Weber has been a part of the Phillies organization since interning in the sales office in 1987. Over his tenure, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility and scope, culminating with his promotion to vice president, sales and ticket operations in February 2007.

Under his stewardship, the Phillies sales team achieved ticket sales of more than three million for seven consecutive seasons (2007-2013). As an integral member of the leadership team that spearheaded the construction of Citizens Bank Park, John supervised the development of luxury suites and club seats. He also represents the organization on the MLB Ticket Review Committee.

John serves on the board of directors of the Philadelphia chapter of the ALS Association and Phillies Charities, Inc. The Phillies have raised more than $16 million during their 31-year relationship with ALS Association. He also serves on the Drexel University Sport Business Advisory Board.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., John graduated with a BA in European history from Purdue University in 1985 and an MBA in management from Ball State University in 1987. He and his wife Susan have two sons, Matthew and John Ryan. They reside in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
