Katelyn Hufe Karahan is a partner at Green & Spiegel U.S.‘s Philadelphia office where she manages the non-immigrant visa department. Katelyn has over 13 years of experience in nearly all aspects of immigration law including employment-based and family-based immigration, removal defense, federal litigation, citizenship, and applications for humanitarian relief. Katelyn’s practice currently focuses on helping entrepreneurs and small businesses grow by strategically utilizing a range of non-immigrant visas and permanent residence options to build and retain a talented workforce. Katelyn also works with individuals and families to achieve their goals in other areas of immigration including marriage and family-based applications, citizenship, and asylum, U-visas and humanitarian-based relief options.
Katelyn served as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University’s Thomas Kline School of Law from 2017-2023 as the Director of the Federal Litigation and Appeals Clinic, teaching trial skills to law students, mentoring, and supervising representation of low-income clients on a pro bono basis. Katelyn has held a number of leadership positions with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Immigration Council (AIC).
