As Senior Director, Originations, Northeast, Mike Doty has successfully closed numerous C-PACE financed projects throughout the northeast during his 6+ year tenure at Nuveen Green Capital (NGC). Mike has helped raise significant awareness for C-PACE in the commercial real estate space and has proven instrumental in broadening NGC’s reach in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining NGC, Mike spent seven years in sales at Eversource Energy, Dimplex North America, and Lutron Electronics. Mike is propelled by the desire to use his expertise to help reduce the carbon footprint of the built environment.
Mike graduated from Villanova University with a BA in Political Science and Arabic. A Certified Energy Manager and Certified Lighting Efficiency professional, endorsed by ACEEE, Mike is an accomplished energy efficiency specialist, who is a frequent speaker on panels and at industry events. Mike is known for his clear communication and depth of knowledge, and he was the recipient of the New England Real Estate Journal’s “Ones to Watch - Rising Stars” Award in 2024. In 2025, Mike and his team’s work on the Tivoli Theatre project in Nashville, TN helped the venue earn the Better Buildings U.S. Department of Energy Financial Innovation Award.
