Co-founder
Athletifreak
Mo Wadhwani ’06, MBA ’09, a proud Drexel University alumnus, is the co-founder of Athletifreak, a luxury activewear brand built to celebrate the energy and greatness within us all. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Wadhwani was a successful corporate executive, leading high-performing organizations at Johnson & Johnson, Philips, Honeywell and BASF. His expertise is driving growth, managing mergers and acquisitions, and steering business transformations. A passionate endurance athlete, Mo lives and breathes the “AF mentality” both in business and in life.
In 2021, Wadhwani made the bold decision to transition from his corporate career and, alongside his wife and creative partner, Noor Wadhwani, bring Athletifreak to life. The brand was inspired by the journey while Wadhwani prepared for his first Ironman triathlon—a family milestone that embraced the triathlon lifestyle and sparked the name “Athletifreak” after playful comments from critics. Starting with just one hoodie and one T-shirt in the hills of Basking Ridge, N.J., Athletifreak quickly evolved from a dream into a growing force.
Athletifreak’s first store opened in The Bridgewater Commons in 2022. Fast-forward to 2025, the retail footprint has expanded to Cherry Hill, New York, Nashville and now internationally with its first store in India—all while keeping Basking Ridge at its heart and headquarters.
Prominent partnerships with IRONMAN and gyms like Life Time, and endurance races like the Rocky Run keep the athlete at the forefront of the brand DNA. Wadhwani’s philosophy is simple: “Be CommittedAF.” His personal “why” is even simpler: “Greatness Lies Within.” He embraces wellness not as a task but as a way of life—one that fuels his business, inspires his community, and keeps Athletifreak pushing strong and fast, with no plans of slowing down.
