Pam Saechow

Pam Saechow is the Former Chief Information Officer of American Academic Health System (AAHS) and has 25 years of experience in healthcare, prior to joining AAHS. She has served as associated CIO for Cleveland Clinic, Vice President, GO Enterprise at New York City Health + Hospitals, the second largest public health system in the world. She provided IT leadership and strategy overseeing the Infrastructure, implementation, optimization and support of electronic health records and financial systems across all inpatient and outpatient settings.

During her tenure, Pam was the recipient of the Health Data Management “Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT” award for two consecutive years – 2017 and 2018. She was recently nominated by Becker’s “Female health IT leaders to know”. She previously spent a majority of her career at Sutter Health in California.

Pam developed her passion for service and healthcare when she was starting out as the first high school student ever accepted into the Regional Occupation Program for Pharmacy Technician program, for the low income families.

Pam earned her Bachelors of Journalism and Broadcasting from Sacramento State University. Additionally, she successfully completed the CHIME Certified Healthcare CIO program (CHCIO) and currently working on her EMBA at Drexel University.
