Paul Avazier '07

Paul J. Avazier ’07, currently serves as associate principal at Atkin Olshin Schade (AOS) Architects. Avazier is instrumental in the design and documentation of renovations for cultural and academic institutions, including the Blauvelt Theatre at the Friends Select School, the Music Department at the University of Delaware, and the Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University. He completed his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Drexel University in 2007. Avazier has led the design, documentation, and construction efforts as project manager for many significant institutional projects for clients such as Friends Select School, Santiago Christian School, The Episcopal Academy, Lafayette College, Lehigh University, and Drexel University. He is currently managing the Penn State Berks Beaver Community Center Renovation and Expansion project, after recently completing Lehigh University’s SouthSide Commons. Avazier served as the president of AIA Philadelphia in 2020, and is a member of the United States Institute for Theater Technology.
