Peggy Leimkuhler

As Chief Operating Officer of Firstrust Bank, Peggy Leimkuhler’s responsibilities include oversight of Information Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Purchasing, Facilities, Project Management, Compliance and Operations Risk. Peggy’s banking career spans more than two decades, and includes experience in virtually all aspects of commercial banking with a focus on technology, operating infrastructure and compliance and risk management.

Peggy is a Trustee, and the immediate Past Chair, of the Center for Literacy Board of Trustees. She serves as Vice Chair of the World Affairs Council and is a member of The POWER of Professional Women and The Forum of Executive Women. Peggy recently became a Systems Thinking Design Consultant for the Villanova EMBA program. She also participates in other mentoring programs for Villanova students and has been an active supporter and volunteer for Philadelphia Reads. She was a participant in the Chester County Leadership Connection in 2003 and completed a year-long Leadership as a Practice series in 2013.

Peggy received an Executive MBA with honors from Villanova University in 2008 and did her undergraduate work at Temple University. In November 2011, Peggy received the Women of Distinction Award from the Philadelphia Business Journal. This annual award recognizes the premier women business leaders in the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area.
