Dr. Rami Musa brings over 18 years of expertise in supply chain digital transformation, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI). As Senior Director at Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain, he leads the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions, including generative AI, quantum computing, and advanced analytics, to enhance operational efficiency and deliver strategic value. Rami is the founder of Johnson & Johnson’s Data Science Community of Practice, which has grown to over 800 members, fostering knowledge sharing and capability building across the organization. His work has driven transformative outcomes, including multimillion-dollar improvements in productivity and cost optimization. An accomplished academic and practitioner, Rami holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati with a focus on statistics and AI. He is well-published in leading journals and conferences, particularly in the areas of advanced supply chain modeling and decision sciences. In addition to his corporate role, Rami has engaged with academia as an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Tech and Drexel University, where he taught operations management and simulation courses aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry.
