Sports Anchor and Analyst
Renee Washington is a sports anchor and analyst with various networks, including ESPN and NBC Sports. With NBC Sports, she has served many roles such as play by play broadcaster for the Winter Olympic trials. She is also a sideline reporter and analyst covering college sports for ESPN. She knowledgeably covers every sport professionally and collegiately for men and women.
Washington worked as an analyst and reporter with outlets such as Front Office Sports, the NWSL, CONCACAF, the Queens League, Fox Sports, MSG Networks, FloSports and BET. The Ewing, N.J. native is a former three-time all-American and soccer hall of famer from La Salle University. As an Explorer, she received her bachelor’s degree in public relations with a double minor in Spanish and psychology.
Washington had an opportunity to play professionally with Sky Blue FC (now Gotham FC) before transitioning to coach at Lehigh University and receive her master’s in educational leadership. She currently resides in New Jersey.
Beyond reporting, Washington is also a motivational speaker, emcee, creator and entrepreneur. She enjoys using her platform to inspire and educate others. Through speaking, she has led a Ted talk, been a keynote speaker, moderated panels, and been able to host many events around the world.
