Rich Powers is head of private equity product management in Vanguard Portfolio Review Department (PRD). Rich and his team are responsible for the commercial health of Vanguard’s current private equity offer, Vanguard long-term private equity product strategy, and crew and client education initiatives.
Prior to his current role, Rich was the head of ETF product management from 2015-2021 and from 2003-2015, Rich was a senior member of the Oversight and Manager Search Team.
Rich has spoken frequently at conferences and has been widely quoted in publications like the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times and has made numerous national television appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg.
Rich earned a BSBA in finance from Shippensburg University and an MBA in investment management from Drexel University.
