Rich Powers ‘08 is head of private equity product management in Vanguard Portfolio Review Department (PRD). Rich and his team are responsible for the commercial health of Vanguard’s current private equity offer, Vanguard long-term private equity product strategy, and crew and client education initiatives. Prior to his current role, Rich was the head of ETF product management from 2015-2021, covering the same responsibilities as he does in PE for the Vanguard ETF franchise. From 2003-2015, Rich was a senior member of the Oversight and Manager Search Team in PRD.
Rich has spoken frequently at conferences and has been widely quoted in publications like the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times and has made numerous national television appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg.
Rich earned a B.S.B.A. in finance from Shippensburg University and an M.B.A. in investment management from Drexel University.
