Russ Kliman

Russ is the global leader of SEI Ventures, SEI’s corporate venture capital program. SEI Ventures seeks to identify venture capital opportunities to drive new product development in existing and adjacent markets, accelerate the expansion or launch of existing and new platforms, and be a catalyst for the introduction and implementation of new technologies and business models within SEI. SEI Ventures’ strategic mission is to enhance SEI’s ability to deliver innovative, comprehensive solutions to help our clients achieve lasting success. Russ also leads SEI’s global innovation programs, which focus on various initiatives that enable creative problem-solving through design-thinking and user-centered design principles.

Throughout his career, Russ has led product-design, technology and innovation strategies for several businesses, ranging from startups to billion-dollar enterprises. During his 17-year tenure at SEI, he has led various strategic initiatives, including new business marketing, business development, product design and technology. Russ also serves as an adjunct professor at Villanova University’s School of Business’ Executive MBA program, focusing on innovation and value creation through technology. Russ holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Design from Drexel University’s College of Computing & Informatics.
