PatientWing
Zikria Syed is the CEO and co-founder of PatientWing, a company enabling patients to participate in clinical trials. PatientWing’s customers include the top 50 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and leading research sites.
He is a serial entrepreneur who has founded, successfully scaled, and exited multiple companies. Before founding PatientWing, he founded and led NextDocs to a global leadership position in document management solutions for life sciences companies. He also founded and exited Broadpeak, a clinical trial software company.
Earlier in his career, Zikria worked at Microsoft, where he consulted with Microsoft’s largest enterprise customers, advising them on technology and solution development.
Zikria holds a BS in Computer Science from Lock Haven University and an MS in Computer Science from Drexel University.
Zikria’s commitment to entrepreneurism and education extends beyond his professional endeavors. He actively mentors young and aspiring entrepreneurs and supports education nonprofits that foster the next generation of business leaders.
Zikria received the Pharma Voice 100 award in 2007 for his contributions to leadership in the life sciences industry.
Zikria was inducted into Drexel’s College of Engineering’s Alumni Circle of Distinction in 2012 and into Drexel 100, Drexel University’s Alumni Hall of Fame, in 2019.
