Timothy Jordan, Group Director at AmeriGas

Title: How supply chain strategies are shifting to support digitization and the technologies that are changing the competitive landscape

Tim is responsible for leading the Supply Chain team at AmeriGas. He recently joined the organization to support the digitization of their supply chain and is responsbile for supporting customer data management, forecasting, planning and routing, and last mile delivery execution. He recently spent eleven years at Armada overseeing the strategy, execution, and performance of the company’s managed freight program; strategic management of carrier relationships and ReDistribution order management for client supply chains.

Prior to joining AmeriGas as a Group Director in Supply Chain, Tim spent 25 years working in supply chain with companies, such as Armada, Mountaire Farms, Smithfield Foods and UPS Freight – formerly known as Overnite Transportation. He has held various leadership roles in transportation management, procurement, industrial engineering, operations audit and compliance, driver qualification and hiring, fleet maintenance, equipment purchasing and accident investigation.
