NAIOP - Drexel Summer Real Estate Program
NAIOP - Drexel Summer Real Estate Program is designed to introduce rising high school juniors and seniors of color to careers in commercial real estate (CRE) by exposing students to major CRE projects.
Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of careers in real estate such as architecture, development, investment, construction, brokerage and urban planning through the lens of a case study and real estate-focused activities. Students will gain a deeper understanding of key concepts in real estate by exploring these topics with Drexel professors, industry mentors and high-level corporate executives.
Key aspects of the program include site visits to high-profile locations such as FMC and Comcast, as well as several team building, college readiness, and enrichment events on Drexel’s campus and throughout the city.
NAIOP - Drexel Summer Real Estate Program is a six-day, residential program on Drexel’s campus from July 14 to July 19.
Current high school sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply. NAIOP - Drexel Summer Real Estate Program will select 28 high-achieving students of color from the greater Philadelphia area.
NAIOP - Drexel Summer Real Estate Program is hosted by Drexel University and sponsored by NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and corporations interested in helping create a more diverse pipeline for CRE talent.
