We are living in volatile times with complex and nuanced issues that are quickly building momentum. These challenges impact purpose-driven nonprofit organizations just as much, if not more, than corporate entities. The pandemic, workforce shortages, DEI concerns and cybersecurity are just a few of the challenges facing nonprofits these days. It is the responsibility of the board of directors to oversee these challenges and to provide support to their organizations’ management teams.

Aside from these challenges, boards are also facing their own issues, such as director disengagement, misalignment with the mission and director skills sets, how to recruit and onboard a diverse board that mirrors the organization’s own population, defining committee work and more. Join GGI as we discuss these challenges and key takeaways to implement better board operations in your own nonprofit board work.

We want to hear from you! Send us your questions in advance, and we will do our best to incorporate them into the conversation. Please email your questions to Mirela Hima, assistant director, at mh3229@drexel.edu.
