Judy Stewart will be joining us to discuss her professional career with GSK, a career spanning many different roles across cardiovascular, diabetes, autoimmune conditions and vaccines. We will discuss that pharmaceutical industry as a whole and provide tips for students interested in the industry. Michael Howley, PA-C, PhD, Clinical Professor of Marketing will moderate the discussion.

Judy Stewart, a pharmaceutical and vaccines executive with over 20 years of healthcare industry experience, is the Senior Vice President & Head of US Vaccines at GSK. With a passion for reducing health disparities and ensuring vaccine access, Judy leads a team of 800 people and is responsible for US commercialization efforts for a portfolio of 17 brands delivering more than $6 billion in gross sales. She is also a member of the Vaccines Investment Board that globally decides R&D priorities and investment.
Judy’s strengths and demonstrated expertise include insight-driven strategic thinking, business planning and execution, P&L management, ability to work globally and develop cross-cultural talent. Her functional areas of experience include general management, global strategic marketing, sales leadership, distribution, trade strategy, and human resources. She has experience across many therapeutic areas, as well as commercial experience in early asset development with R&D, in-market launches and end of lifecycle brand management.
Judy holds a BS from the University of Maryland in Marketing & International Business and received an MBA from Drexel University. She also has a professional certificate from the University of Pennsylvania in Transformational Leadership for Executives. She is a member of the Vaccines Policy Advisory Committee for Bio, a cross-industry trade association.
