You are invited to the 2026 Rising Starters High School Pitch Competition! This year, the competition will occur as part of our annual Future Fest event.

Students may pitch individually or as a team, with no more than 3 pitches per school, to win cash prizes!

Cash Prizes:

  • 1st Place: $250
  • 2nd Place: $150
  • 3rd Place: $100

High School Future Fest Schedule:

  • 10:45—11:30 a.m.: Arrival & Lunch
  • 11:30 a.m.—12:15 p.m.: Fast Pitch Competition (Drexel Students)
  • 12:15—1:00 p.m.: Fast Pitch Competition (High School Students)
  • 1:00—2:00 p.m.: Student Vendor Expo & Departure

Why Participate?

This experience is a great opportunity for students to:

  • Build public speaking and presentation skills
  • Explore entrepreneurship and innovation
  • Gain exposure to a university setting
  • Strengthen college applications with experiential learning

Judging Criteria:

Pitches are judged on a scale of 1-10 by the following measure.

  • Problem Statement: Clearly express a specific problem they want to solve.
  • Customer Solution: Clearly express a specific solution to the problem they want to solve.
  • Presentation: Deliver an engaging, informative, and persuasive pitch within 2 minutes.
