Professor Wang has taught Intermediate Accounting and accounting research methods since he joined Mays Business School in 2008. Wang’s research focuses on auditing, corporate governance and quality of accounting earnings. From 2004 to 2015, he has published articles in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Contemporary Accounting Research, AUDITING: A Journal of Practice and Theory and other journals. Wang has received various research grants and teaching awards. He is one of the recipients of Montague-CTE award in 2009 and Mays Research Fellowship in 2011. Wang earned his doctoral degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Before joining Mays, Wang was an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Wang is a member of American Accounting Association.
