The Grove at Newark Tour and Reception with the Real Estate Alumni Network

Join the Drexel Real Estate Alumni Network for an exclusive tour of The Grove at Newark, Fusco Management’s transformational $100 million redevelopment of the former College Square shopping center in Newark, Delaware.

Following a networking reception, hear from Drew Romanic ’98 and Dan McCauley ’02, partners at The Martin Architectural Group, on how their Drexel education shaped their careers and their roles as lead architects and master-planners behind this ambitious transformation.

Then tour The Grove at Newark, a 46-acre site that has been reimagined from a surface-parked retail center with 30% vacant space into a vibrant, walkable community. The redevelopment features 306 high-end apartment units, a central plaza anchored by new restaurant spaces and a 1-acre community green complete with a playground and music pavilion. The project also added over 1,000 new trees, a connection to an extensive regional bike trail network and a dedicated dog park.
