Networking doesn’t have to feel awkward. Whether you’re meeting employers, alumni or professionals for the first time, this interactive workshop will help students develop the confidence and skills to make meaningful connections.
Drexel LeBow alumni are invited to join the students for the workshop and help them put their skills into practice during a supportive, low-pressure networking session after the program.
Featuring networking expert Sean Hand, author of “That Was Awkward: 7 Secrets of an Awkward Networker,” the workshop offers benefits for both students and alumni alike, exploring how to:
- Start and sustain professional conversations
- Overcome networking anxiety and build confidence
- Introduce yourself with ease
- Ask thoughtful questions and keep conversations flowing
- Leave a positive, lasting impression
- Follow up after networking events
After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to put their new skills into practice during a guided networking session. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow LeBow alumni and mentor current students in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
