Caribbean Commerce, Culture, Cuisine and Citizenship

This one-week Intensive Course Abroad was an immersion into the commercial and cultural environments of Jamaica through experiencing Jamaica’s community and industry including tourism, hospitality, coffee, rum and reggae. Students led by LeBow faculty learned about the history of the country, its business and political environment, visited important sites and experienced its cuisine and music first hand. Students also participated in a hands on service project at a local elementary school in Kingston and consulted with a local business owner.
