How to Install Microsoft Office 365

Fully-featured, the Microsoft Office 365 software package includes Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access.

Drexel-Owned Computers

Windows 10 Users

  1. Open the Windows menu.
  2. Select Microsoft System Center.
  3. Launch Software Center.
  4. Select Applications from the menu on the left.
  5. Select the installer for Office 365 ProPlus.
  6. Select Install.

macOS Users

  1. Browse to Applications.
  2. Launch Self Service.
  3. Sign on using your Drexel credentials.
  4. Select Applications from the menu on the left.
  5. Locate the installer for Microsoft Office 2016 Pro Plus.
  6. Select Install.


Personal Computers

  1. Browse to http://portal.office.com.
  2. Sign on using your Drexel credentials.
  3. Under the Search text field, select Install Office.
  4. Select Office 365 apps.
  5. Select Close.
  6. Browse to the location where you downloaded the installer file.
  7. Launch the installer.
  8. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the installation.
