Drew O’Neill is Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at HighPoint Solutions (an IQVIA company). At HighPoint, Drew is responsible for the internal information security program as well as the managed security services practice. HighPoint is a global consulting firm focused in the healthcare and life sciences industries. HighPoint has over 700 employees, over 300 clients, and conducts business in over 30 countries. Services include: business consulting; technology, security, and compliance consulting; system integrations; professional services; hosting; staff augmentation; and managed (outsourced) services.

Drew has over 30 years combined experience in accounting, finance, internal/external audit (financial, operational, technology), technology management, systems architecture and engineering, information security management, enterprise risk management, compliance management, Big 4 consulting, due diligence for M&A, project management, management of global and cross functional teams, and the development of metrics to monitor and measure the performance and effectiveness of solutions. Drew’s unique skillset is that of a problem-solver and solution architect, as he can develop and implement comprehensive and sustainable solutions that deliver value to all areas of an organization. Drew is also skilled at translating business and technical concepts among operating teams, management teams, and to board members.

Prior to HighPoint Solutions, Mr. O’Neill was founder, president, and managing consultant at IT Governance Advisors, a boutique consulting firm that provided technology and security consulting services to global companies across all industries. After ten years in business, IT Governance Advisors merged into the managed security services practice of HighPoint Solutions in September 2018.

Prior to founding IT Governance Advisors, Mr. O’Neill had a successful career spanning 16 years including management roles at PNC Bank and KPMG. As IT Director at PNC, Mr. O’Neill designed, implemented, and managed the network, systems, and staff, whereas at KPMG he served as a technology and security consultant to Fortune 500 clients.

Mr. O’Neill volunteers his time to worthy causes and previously held leadership roles with several non-profit and township organizations; organizations associated with cancer research and fundraising, cancer support groups, helping underprivileged youth, and coaching youth sports. Mr. O’Neill holds a BS degree in Accounting and Finance from Drexel University, a certificate in Director education from Drexel University, certificates in Six Sigma and Project Management from Villanova University, and a certificate in Information Security from Intense School. He maintains three certifications including Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). Mr. O’Neill serves as a guest speaker at Philadelphia area universities and industry conferences. During college, Drew was Captain of the Drexel golf team, and in his spare time continues to play competitive golf in regional amateur tournaments.
