The types of people and systems that consume data analyses has been increasing quickly over the last 10 years and will continue to grow for the foreseeable future. Rochford will discuss the importance of considering the audience for an analysis - not just when communicating the results, but also when choosing the mathematical/statistical methods. He’ll discuss differences in analytic sophistication, internal versus external consumers, and machine consumers.

Austin Rochford is a Principal Data Scientist at Monetate Labs, where he is responsible for research and development of data products for personalized marketing.
