On-site Conference Registration

Conference registration will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018, 1:00 - 2:15 PM and on Saturday, May 19, 2018, 8:00 - 11:00 AM in Gerri C. LeBow Hall, room 221 “Rose Terrace” (2nd floor).

Conference Sessions, Breaks & Meals

Both the Trade and Theory meetings will be held in Gerri C. LeBow Hall (directions above). All presentations will be 30 minutes in length. We suggest that you plan for a 25 minute presentation, and allow 5 minutes at the end for discussion. Session chairs will be assigned for both the Trade and Theory sessions.

Several breaks will be scheduled throughout the conference. All breaks, provided meals and the Saturday evening reception will take place in Gerri C. LeBow Hall, rooms 220 & 221 (2nd floor). Accommodations

We have blocked rooms at the following two hotels that are in close proximity to the conference site:

The Study (under “Drexel University: Midwest Trade and Theory Meetings”) 20 S. 33rd Street $195 / night Reserve by April 18, 2018 to secure preferred rate.

Sheraton University City (under “Drexel University”) 3549 Chestnut Street $189 / night Reserve by April 18, 2018 to secure preferred rate.

Wi-Fi Access

To log into the Drexel Guest Wifi, choose the DrexelGuest network in the drop-down menu.

Parking and Public Transportation

Parking is available in the Drexel Garage, which is located on the southeast corner of 34th and Market Streets, with the vehicle entrance in the rear at 34th and Ludlow Streets. Cost is $15 per day. Please take notice of the number of your parking space. Before exiting the garage, you can pay for parking by using one of the kiosks, where you will enter the number of the parking space. Exact cash or credit card payments are available.

Limited street parking is available.

If the Drexel Garage is full, there is a University of Pennsylvania Garage on 34th Street between Ludlow and Chestnut Streets (right across Ludlow Street from the Drexel Garage). Cost is $19. You will receive a ticket upon entering, and pay a cashier as you depart.

Gerri C. LeBow Hall is also easily accessible by subway, regional rail or Amtrak by arriving into 30th Street Station. Walk two blocks west on Market Street to reach 32nd and Market. Gerri C. LeBow Hall is the tall 12-story building on the south side of Market Street.
