Join us for an afternoon discussion on consulting with LeBow alumnus Derreck Robinson ’93, managing director, national sales leader, Deloitte. Take this opportunity to learn more about his passion for his career and his drive to make the consulting industry a more inclusive workplace.

Derreck Robinson ’93, Managing Director, National Sales Leader, Biography
During my 28+ year career, I have focused on leadership, culture creation, sales excellence, cultivation of high performing teams, exceptional client relationships, the art of negotiation and delivering results, with an unwavering commitment to community and unrelenting focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. A core strength is being able to anticipate trends in the market and being first to innovate on behalf of our clients as a result.

I currently serve as the national sales leader for Deloitte Consulting’s Core Business Operations (CBO) Offering Portfolio, focused on sales and go-to-market for Cloud Engineering inclusive of the hyper-scaler solutions (AWS, MFST Azure and GCP). This portfolio represents one of the most strategic market offerings across the firm and for our clients. I also serve as managing director, national sales leader for ServiceNow firm-wide (all lines of business).

The CBO/Cloud Engineering sales organization delivers about $500 million in direct and indirect sales across this $3 billion+ ecosystem. Deloitte is currently ranked no. 1 for Public Cloud IT Transformation Services (Gartner). The ServiceNow sales organization delivers about $100 million in direct sales across a $500 million ecosystem. Deloitte is currently the no. 1 strategic partner for ServiceNow.

My passion is fueled through servant leadership and championing diversity, equity and inclusion. I am the executive sponsor for the Connections Mentorship Program focused on the development, retention and advancement of the firm’s Black professionals. I serve as executive sponsor for the Deloitte Chicago Office Black and Allies Community, as well as an executive member of the Chicago/Midwest Inclusion Counsel embodying a culture of inclusion for all professionals.

My experience has led to board positions, including a board president role for a nonprofit entity focused on impacting the lives of people adversely affected by poverty — turning the possible into the probable. Further, I serve on the board of my alma mater, Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, working to open the doors of education and opportunity to the next generation of leaders.

Honored to be named Chicago United’s Business Leaders of Color 2021, as well as Crain’s Notable 2021 Black Leaders and Executives.
