The momentum around women’s sports in Philadelphia is no longer a trend. It’s an economic movement. Women’s sports represent one of the fastest-growing and most culturally relevant sectors in media and entertainment; Philadelphia is at the center of it.

Philadelphia Ad Club is partnering with MOD Worldwide and Drexel University’s Sport Business Department to host a special program focused on The Business of Women’s Sports on October 21, 2026.

Why Now?

Innovation within the women’s sports ecosystem, not just on the field, but across marketing, sponsorship, fan engagement, media rights, community-building and long-term investment strategy.

Featured Voices

The panel will feature a curated group of leaders at the forefront of the women’s sports movement, representing a cross-section of community builders, brand partners and business innovators shaping its rapid growth.

Together, these panelists will unpack the economic and cultural forces driving the rise of women’s sports, with a focus on what’s happening right here in Philadelphia, from new teams and record-breaking attendance to increased investment and media attention. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of where the business opportunities are emerging, including sponsorship, partnerships, media and fan engagement, and how brands, agencies and organizations can meaningfully participate in this rapidly growing space.

For marketers, business leaders and innovators, this is a chance to get ahead of one of the most important shifts in sports and media today, igniting in Philadelphia.
