The Inner Entrepreneur: Executive Alumni Pitch Competition and Networking Reception

Drexel Executive MBA and Executive DBA alumni, graduates of the Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship’s graduate programs and industry partners are invited to an evening of networking and celebration as the LeBow College of Business officially dedicates the Rosato Executive Lounge.

To kick off the collaborations and connections this newly refreshed space provides, we invite our alumni for a fun evening celebrating the inner entrepreneur in us all.

Network with fellow alumni and industry leaders and hear from Donna De Carolis, PhD, founding dean of the Close School of Entrepreneurship and Silverman Family Professor of Entrepreneurial Leadership at the LeBow College of Business, as she presents an innovation keynote talk, “The Inner Entrepreneur.”

You’ll then have the opportunity to participate in a fun and friendly Fast Pitch competition, where alumni share the ideas that have been burning to be shared. If you opt to not pitch an idea, you’re sure to have a “light bulb” moment or two listening in! (Learn more below.)

Wrap up the evening building new connections and enjoying tasty treats, beer, wine and soft drinks during a networking reception in the Rosato Executive Lounge.

• The Prompt: What keeps you up at night? Or, have you had an idea in the shower that you always wanted to pitch?
• The Details: Two-minute pitch. No slides. No stress.
• The Prize: The winning pitch wins dinner with LeBow College of Business Dean Vibhas Madan, PhD, and Close School of Entrepreneurship Founding Dean Donna De Carolis, PhD, at the Union League of Philadelphia.

Participation in the Fast Pitch competition is optional. So that we can plan accordingly, please indicate your interest in participating when you register by choosing “Program + Pitch Competition.” Those wishing to attend the event and listen to the pitches should choose “Program Only.”
