Economics: International Trade

Dr. Vibhas Madan offers insightful commentary on general economic-related topics and expertise on international trade. The head of LeBow College of Business’ Economics Department, Dr. Madan is versed on many of the issues confronting the U.S. and global economy including: free trade, currency value, energy, and consumer prices.

 He has co-authored numerous journal articles including “Preferential Trade Agreements, Market Power, and Product Differentiation,” in the Journal of Economic Integration; “Quality Perception and Monetary Sacrifice: A Comparative Analysis of Discounts and Fixed Prices,” in the Journal of Product and Brand Management; and “The Structure of Intra-firm Trade and Endogenous Transfer Prices,” in the Canadian Journal of Economics.
