Elie Farhat Named HBA Chapter Hero

Elie Farhat, director of graduate programs at LeBow College of Business, has been named a 2010  Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Greater Philadelphia Chapter Hero.

“Our local HBA chapter is an excellent organization which provides terrific professional development and networking opportunities for local healthcare professionals,” Farhat says. “I am honored to be recognized by this organization.” Farhat says that LeBow College offers four annual scholarships through the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of HBA.

Each year, HBA selects a person who has shown great dedication to the chapter in way of support and advocacy, and advances the organization’s mission of advancing women in their careers.

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association is the premier catalyst for the leadership development of women in healthcare worldwide, comprising nearly 6,000 women and men from all sectors of healthcare. Its Greater Philadelphia Chapter was ranked the No. 1 networking Organization for the enhancement of women’s careers in healthcare by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
