LeBow, Philadelphia Business Journal Accepting Nominations for CFO of the Year Awards

The fifth annual CFO of the Year Awards, sponsored by Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and presented by the Philadelphia Business Journal, has issued a call for nominations.

“The … CFO awards are designed to honor and bring needed attention to what is arguably the most under-appreciated member of the executive team,” Philadelphia Business Journal Editor Craig Ey said. “In these times, a strong financial leader is key to success.”

Open nominations are now being accepted for nine separate categories, including:

• Small Company
• Medium Company
• Large Company
• Extra Large Company
• Nonprofit Organization
• Turnaround Achievement
• Government
• Community Service Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award

The deadline for applications is April 20. The awards luncheon will be held on July 12 at 11 a.m. at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City’s Wanamaker Building.
