LeBow Undergraduates Visit Chile

March 23, 2009

About 30 undergraduate students from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business are participating in an international residency in Chile this week. They are blogging about their trip and posting photos daily.

The students have a lot of learning and cultural adventures packed into their one-week itinerary. They are spending the week in Santiago, but will also spend a day visiting the beautiful seaport city of Valparaiso, Chile’s cultural capital. The students will also visit the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile to hear academic lectures; ARAMARK to learn about how the company conducts international trade; and the U.S. Embassy for a briefing on relations between the United States and Chile. They will also have an opportunity to meet and network with Chilean students from the Universidad del Desarrollo.

The students are accompanied by Dr. Frank Linnehan, Associate Dean for Graduate and Undergraduate Studies, and Ian Sladen, Director of Undergraduate Programs. The group will return to the United States on Sunday, March 29.
