Zoom Cloud Recording View Analytics

Follow the instructions below to determine how many students have viewed a Zoom class recording.

Configure Zoom Settings for all Recordings

NOTE: These settings only need to be configured once and will only apply to future recordings.

  1. Browse to https://drexel.zoom.us.
  2. Select Sign In Standard and log in using Drexel Connect.
  3. Select Settings from the menu on the left.
  4. Select Recording from the top menu.
  5. Verify Only authenticated users can view cloud recordings is enabled (blue).

Configure Zoom Settings for Individual Recordings

  1. Browse to https://drexel.zoom.us.
  2. Select Sign In Standard and log in using Drexel Connect.
  3. Select Recordings from the menu on the left.
  4. Select the recording you wish to modify.
  5. Select Share on the right.
  6. Check Only authenticated users can view.
  7. From the drop-down menu, select Signed-in users in my account.
  8. Select Save.
  9. Select Done.

View Recording Statistics

  1. Browse to https://drexel.zoom.us.
  2. Select Sign In Standard and log in using Drexel Connect.
  3. Select Recordings from the menu on the left.
  4. Select the recording you wish to view.
  5. Select Recording Analytics under the title of the recording.

The By View option at the bottom will list each individual view by user.
