Baiada Center Announces Incubator Competition Winners

The Laurence A. Baiada Center for Entrepreneurship at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business has announced the winners of its 2011 Incubator Competition, held June 1 at World Café Live in Philadelphia:

1st place – Passionfly (formerly known as Campus Sponsorship) – A social advertising platform that is fundamentally changing the way advertisers and young consumers interact across the social web. Passionfly allows college students to willingly engage with advertisers, try new products, make purchases, and share advertisers' messaging across their social networks in exchange for rewards for the groups, activities, and interests they're passionate about.

2nd place – CarTech – A technology start-up with a vision of providing connected car solutions for the performance automotive aftermarket. Shift by CarTech provides a battleground for bragging rights in the automotive enthusiasts’ community by collecting, documenting, and analyzing performance metrics, then sharing that information through a social network.

3rd place – Greek Solutions – This company provides chapter management technology catered to Greek student organizations through the development of web-based systems that help organization leadership execute basic chapter functions.

Each team has won designated space in the Baiada incubator, as well as seed funding and in-kind prizes including legal, communications and financial planning services.
