Drexel LeBow Student Named to U.S. Men's National University Team

January 26, 2011

Drexel LeBow student Daniel Pyne ’12, a star goalie on Drexel men’s hockey team, is currently in Turkey competing for the U.S. Men’s National University Team. He was asked to join the team after winning a spot in a competitive try-out session earlier this year, where 80 top players competed for a place on the team.

When he’s not out on the ice, Pyne is busy studying, maintaining a rigorous academic schedule with concentrations in entrepreneurship and marketing at LeBow. As part his education at Drexel, Pyne participates in the school's cooperative education program. Most recently, he completed an internship at Comcast-Spectacor, parent company of the Flyers.

The Drexel men’s hockey team competes at the Class of ’23 Rink on Walnut Street in Philadelphia.
