A Redesigned Curriculum
Your coursework has been refreshed and built around where business is headed. These changes provide core competencies in essential skills, such as critical thinking, problem solving and information literacy, at the undergraduate level. Additionally, many LeBow courses now integrate emerging technologies like data analytics and AI, preparing you to apply these tools to solve business challenges, add value at your organization and drive transformation.

The Drexel Co-op
Undergraduate co-ops are typically six-month work experiences, offered twice a year (fall and spring terms), allowing you to graduate with up to 18 months of experience at one of our 1,500+ industry-leading partners. Graduate students can also pursue a co-op or internship as part of their program of study.
Study Abroad
Studying abroad allows you to take business-related classes at one of Drexel’s 100+ global partnerships with universities spanning six continents. You can spend one or more full academic terms immersed in a new culture, gaining the global perspective and adaptability that employers increasingly value in today’s interconnected business world.
Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry
Undergraduate research gives you 150+ hours working alongside LeBow faculty on real business challenges, from market trends to emerging technologies that are reshaping industries. You will contribute insights to propel a field forward, while building critical thinking and problem-solving skills that set you apart in interviews and the workplace.
Student-Proposed Projects
Student-proposed projects enable you to shape your own experiential learning with the support of LeBow faculty. Whether you want to explore a niche area of business or build a specific skill set, you can propose a custom experiential learning opportunity around your interests and goals.
Course+
Course+ classes combine traditional coursework with hands-on learning and real-world application. Specially designated by academic departments across LeBow, these courses give you the opportunity to apply business concepts to real business challenges.

For undergraduate students, a more structured foundation of core competencies offers greater flexibility to explore your interests, develop essential skills, combine majors or pursue an accelerated program. Core competencies — designed to position you for long-term success in your career and beyond — are a set of required courses built around three fundamental knowledge areas:
- Inquire and Analyze
You’ll build the skills to ask meaningful questions, evaluate evidence critically and spot patterns that lead to informed decisions.
Key skills: critical thinking, self-reflection, learning strategies
- Collaborate and Integrate
You’ll learn to work across disciplines and perspectives, bring diverse ideas together, and communicate your solutions with clarity.
Key skills: teamwork, communication, interdisciplinary connections
- Apply and Engage
You’ll apply what you know to real-world challenges, adapt as problems evolve, and stay curious and engaged as you work through complex solutions.
Key skills: intellectual, professional and civic engagement, knowledge application, problem solving
As technology continues to evolve, you’ll build AI fluency and tech literacy from your coursework, learning to use AI tools and emerging technologies responsibly, critically and effectively.
Semester-Based Calendar
Drexel is moving from a 10-week quarter system to a 14-week semester calendar. With this change, you can dive deeper into course material and hands-on projects and build stronger relationships with faculty — helping you develop skills that AI cannot replicate.
The new calendar also expands your co-op and study abroad opportunities, aligning more closely with academic and corporate partner schedules. It also opens the summer term as an option for classes, co-op, travel or a break. As part of the shift, LeBow is enhancing its curriculum to be more flexible and better aligned with where you want your degree to take you.
Merging Entrepreneurship and Business
As part of Drexel’s Academic Transformation, the Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship has joined the Bennett S. LeBow College of Business. This integration means pairing entrepreneurial thinking with your business studies — whether you want to launch your own venture, lead an organization or compete in today’s marketplace.
